Challenge
Create and implement detailed marine operations processes, systems, statistics, and data tracking to ensure smooth operations during ramp up of import/export of CPP, NGL, and DPP from multiple Terminals. Also, provide consultation on risk mitigation and demurrage claims.
Result
KTB became client’s Marine Department for operations and chartering functions. Created detailed and replicable business-ready processes to build internal capacity and understanding of commodity contracts. Worked collaboratively to bridge the gap between client’s offices with shipowners, commodity sellers, terminals, agents and inspectors. Client was able to import more product at a faster rate, and at a lower overall cost than building in-house expertise.
